Meal of the day! Hahaha..
This is a random post I guess. But my point is, I love food, and I love taking picture of it. I like to tell people about my eating experience. These are some of my breakfasts picture,hahaha... Some of them is a DIM (Do It Myself ;p) and the other is not.. And these are my meal of the days!
This called "Nasi Campur" (Mixed Rice). Because it consist of many side dish, it's like everything is there. There were "Telur Pindang" (boiled egg), "Ayam Bumbu Merah" (red chicken), "Daging Babi Panggang" (roasted pig), "Bakwan Udang", "Kuah Merah", Hainam Rice, and cucumber. Kuah Merah is made from chicken stock with some spices. I ate it in a small tent near a church in Bandung, the church is GKI Maulana Yusuf. It costed Rp. 15.000,-. Usually mixed rice costs more than Rp. 20.000,-. Thank God I didn't have to pay that much for this wonderful delicious food.
This is a bunch of snack I bought in Goethe Institute Bandung. It taste greaaaat!! There are Martabak, Little Chocolate Muffin, Beef Puff Pastry, and Cheese Risol. Total price for all of this was Rp. 9.000,-. It's worthy for a seriously delicious chocolate muffin, an unforgettable melting cheese, a wonderful crunchy beef puff pastry, and an amazing martabak.
"DO IT MYSELF FOOD!
This is an instant chicken porridge. It's look like a soup instead of a porridge :( I cooked it too long. It's quite good, but it's a bit sour. A pouch of instant porridge costs about Rp. 4.500,-
This is "Nasi Uduk" with "Botok". I made nasi uduk by myself with rice, instant coconut milk, salt, and royco. Botok is a traditional Indonesian food, This one made by Bu Dedeh, the leaseholder of my room. It consists of fish (anchovy maybe), cassava leave, papaya leave, chili, tempe/soya cake, tomato, and coconut. To make botok smells good, it should be wrapped by a banana leave. It's steamed for about half hours
