College students are well known for being frugal and it makes sense. It's just common for them to attend college in a different city, or even country. Thus they have to manage living alone with only pocket money from their parents and in certain circumstances plus some extra money from part time work. But there are also some students who rely their life on part time work salary or scholarship fund. No matter what or how, college students are close with the routine of sparing money. One of the primary concerns in a college student's life is about food, right? It's a basic daily need. Some students choose to cook, some choose to eat instant food (long live instant noodle and microwaveable frozen food, right? hahaha...), some buy supermarket brand foods, some buy the "best before" or night discounted meals (you know, those supermarket or minimarket bento, bread or fried foods which sold with 50% discount at night), but the worst is of course when students have to ski...

Hello blog world! It’s been about more than a year since I have posted anything on my blog. What should I post now hahaha.. Last semesters of college is always hectic right? I even had to add two extra semesters. Thank God I’ve graduated now! I’m officially a Bachelor of Humanities, yay! Perhaps, to start again,  I’m going to tell about my journey to graduation. I was a German Literature’s student and my thesis is about Berlin in seven German Songs from the 1980s-2013. Why Berlin? My first idea was making a thesis about the Germany’s cities that appeared in German songs. I’m curious about why did the musicians (or song writers) write these kinds of songs and how they described the cities. At that moment I was kind of in a hurry to finish my study so I want to use shorter form of literature work, and that would be from “the poetry family”. Suatu hari di kelas "Neueste Deutsche Literatur" semester 5 atau 6 (lupa) kita dapet tugas buat bikin Neue Interpretation ( interpretasi baru) dari  M ä rchen ( dongeng) karya  Bruder Grimm (Brother Grimm). Kita dapet tugas untuk semacam bikin fan fiction lah . Dan inilah jadinya imajinasi anak muda yang melebar ke mana-mana dan penuh fantasi. Oh iya kalau untuk Neue Interpretation kita disuruh untuk bikin cerita baru tapi dengan bahan (tokoh, tempat, kadang alur) yang sama dengan cerita aslinya. Dan dalam tugas ini kita disuruh untuk bikin sekreatif  mungkin jadi kayak buku anak-anak. Arboretum is a huuuuge garden (or park I'm not sure) at my campus, Padjadjaran University, Jatinangor, Sumedang. At first I never really come to this place because I didn't know that it actually some kind of garden (or park I'm still not sure,haha..). I thought it was some kind of an open laboratory for Faculty of Agriculture students, so I thought other than them we couldn't visit Arboretum. Later I knew that it actually open for everyone. But still, I haven't really come to Arboretum at that moment. Until one day I accompanied my friends to the bank (there're two banks inside my campus near Arboretum), and we decided to pick a shortcut through Arboretum. And voila, I found out that it's actually very fresh and natural there. The atmosphere is different, it's not crowded. I thought it was only rice fields and plants.
